Mirror with shelf Oscar

Oskar was designed for entryways, to simplify the reality of everyday life. In the mirror, you check if everything is in place, and the shelf underneath is just right for your wallet and keys, helping you avoid that frantic morning race around the apartment. For the more organized among us, the shelf could be used for, say, a tiny deer statue. Oskar will certainly find its place in the bathroom too; there's plenty of room on the shelf for toothpaste and a toothbrush.

In its design, Oskar plays with contrasts. We took the pure, round shape of the mirror - a symbol of calm and infinity - rounded the rectangle beneath it just right in all corners, and added a shelf that does what it wants. Here, we left the rectangle squared off and only rounded one corner. It's a little design rebel, disrupting symmetry in just the right way.
